Here is what can be done with this tutorial: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First, open up any image that you want to pixelize. It could even be one that you have already made and saved. Change the image mode to RGB by going to Image>Mode>RGB. Go to Dialogs>New Dock>Layers, channels, and paths. Dublicate your image (click button circled in pink once). Then activate the top layer (by clicking on it) and go to Filters>Blur>Pixelize. Set it to 20px. It should now look something like this: Sharpen the layer you just pixelized by going to Filters>Enhance>Sharpen. Set it somewhere in between 70-90. (I used 87 for this example). Finally, set the top layer's (layer that you have pixelized and sharpened) opacity to somewhere in between 40.0 and 50.0 (place that you change opacity is circled in purple). I used 40.0 for this example. Then save, and you are done! Is this tut easy to follow? It is based off of a tutorial I have found at gimptalk.com, but I added a few things to make it easier to follow.
